Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley outlined the long-term projects and priorities that will shape the future of our community during the annual State of the City address, delivered on May 16 at the Delta Burnaby hosted by the Burnaby Board of Trade.
Mayor Hurley also shared a short video highlighting the major facilities the City plans to build over the next five years, as part of the City’s most ambitious capital plan in its history.
From fire halls to ice rinks and pools, we plan to build world-class facilities in every corner of Burnaby. And by using our reserves (savings) instead of borrowing, no taxpayer money will be spent to pay down debt.
