A popular springtime celebration returns to our community this May as the City once again welcomes Burnaby Blooms. Join us for the big kick-off on May 13 and 14 from 11 am to 4 pm, at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts and Deer Lake Park.
There will be so much to enjoy, including thought-provoking eco-art installations and artist talks, educational and cultural walking tours, the seasonal launch of the Burnaby Farmers Artisan Market, gardening workshops and plant sales, a speaker series, roving performers, food trucks, live music and a fabulous kid’s stage featuring free family-friendly entertainment all day. Be inspired by stunning art displays made of flowers, plants and natural materials while enjoying the beauty of Deer Lake Park. Thanks to a successful pilot project in 2022, we will also once again hold a micro-event on May 27 at the Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, where you can participate in fun activities and demonstrations for all ages.
Burnaby Blooms promotes the long-term sustainability and the ecological health of our community in a fun and creative environment. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for hours of fun at the City's favourite spring festival.
