Your utility fees cover the cost of delivering essential utility services–residential water and sewer, water consumption, waste collection and replacement of infrastructure like watermains.
Fees vary from property to property. For single family homes, sewer is billed as a sewer 'parcel tax' (meaning it's a tax on a service to the property) and it's billed with the property tax notice–you won't see this charge on your utility bills.
Change of Address
It's important to keep your address current for property assessment and taxation purposes.
If the mailing address on your property tax bill is incorrect, please complete and submit the Change of Address Area 10, Jurisdiction 301 form directly to BC Assessment.
Please note: It may take a couple of weeks for the City to receive your updated information from BC Assessment.
