The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is an award-winning, multi-purpose community arts facility in beautiful Deer Lake Park. The building is named after acclaimed painter Jack Shadbolt and his wife Doris Shadbolt—curator, author and art educator.
James Cowan Theatre Redevelopment and Parking Impacts
The Shadbolt main building will continue to operate during construction of the James Cowan Theatre Redevelopment, however there will be parking impacts over the next few years. Please give yourself extra time to arrive ahead of your program and consider using carpool, ride sharing or transit. Parking in our outdoor surface parking lot on Deer Lake Avenue will be limited so customers/patrons are encouraged to park in our underground lot. View our parking map for additional parking locations.
