The City of Burnaby is conducting a Travel Benchmark Survey to understand how residents are travelling and to benchmark and update the City’s progress towards the goals and objectives outlined in Connecting Burnaby.
The information collected through this study is essential for informing decision making for future transportation planning. Results from this survey will be integrated into the City’s update of Burnaby’s Transportation Plan.
Canadian-based research firm R.A. Malatest & Associates Ltd. has been contracted to complete the 2024 Household Travel Survey on behalf of the City of Burnaby.

A randomly selected group of residents will be invited to participate in the 2024 Household Travel Survey. Surveys should be completed only by those households that receive a letter with an access code.
