Enjoy organized sports, casual play, or recreation programs at one of our outdoor boxes
Our outdoor multi-use boxes are venues for sports leagues, casual drop-in play, City of Burnaby programming, and cultural and community events.
In addition to these new covered multi-use boxes, the City also maintains a traditional outdoor lacrosse box at Cariboo Hill park.

Sports box etiquette and rules
The sports boxes are not staffed facilities. Please be respectful to all users. If these rules aren't followed, the sport boxes may be closed. To report any issues, please contact us.
- When all courts are full and players are waiting, players will rotate after a game is played or 15 minutes of practice.
- A game is to 11 points (win by 2 points). Players must leave the court after each game.
- If a group doesn't have enough players for a full game, they can use up to 15 minutes for drills, warm-ups or singles play before vacating the court.
- Please bring your own equipment and portable pickleball nets. Burnaby Residents can access pickleball nets at all 3 locations. Register on WebReg for access.
