Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley provided an overview of the key projects and priorities for the City of Burnaby at the annual State of the City address hosted by the Burnaby Board of Trade on April 26.
His speech highlighted the City’s progress towards achieving our climate targets, housing and active transportation goals, and provided an update on the new recreation facilities that will be built over the next five years as part of the most ambitious capital plan in Burnaby’s history.
Mayor Hurley also shared a preview video sharing the early vision for the transformation of the BC Parkway in the Metrotown area into a fully integrated linear park, featuring lively public spaces and opportunities for recreation, commerce and art.
