Temporary Cameron Community Centre now open

The City of Burnaby is pleased to announce the opening of the Temporary Cameron Community Centre, your interim hub for recreation and fun! Located conveniently inside The City of Lougheed Shopping Centre (9855 Austin Ave) on the main level near Guest Services, this temporary space opens its doors on September 3, offering a variety of programs and activities while the new Cameron Community Centre and Library is under construction. Stop by to enjoy our 55+ seniors lounge and programs, preschool & toddler classes, and lifestyle activities, all designed to keep the community active and connected. Fitness classes and preschool/children’s activities will also be offered at the nearby Charles Rummel Centre.

New facility construction is starting
Site fencing and demolition preparations for the new Cameron Community Centre and Library will start this week. Please note that there will be limited street parking available for Cameron Park’s spray park. You are encouraged to take transit, cycle or walk.
