Share your voice to help improve traffic safety in Edmonds

Last updated: November 12, 2024

Share your voice by taking our Phase 2 survey by December 8, 2024.

Burnaby residents are invited to share their feedback on speed and traffic-related concerns in the Edmonds area.

The City of Burnaby is conducting an Edmonds Speed and Traffic Management Study to better understand these issues and identify potential improvements for the area bounded by Edmonds Street, Kingsway Avenue, Canada Way and the New Westminster border. The goal is to enhance road safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists while preserving the neighbourhood’s liveability.

The project will be undertaken in two phases. The online survey for Phase 1 is available until October 1, 2024, at Burnaby.ca/EdmondsTraffic

In addition to the survey, the City will host informative pop-up events where residents can learn more about the project and connect with our project team in person.

  • Wednesday, September 25, 4-7 pm at the Edmonds Community Centre
  • Saturday, September 28, 2-5pm at the Edmonds Community Centre

The improvements are part of the City’s commitment to the Climate Action Framework and align with Connecting Burnaby, Burnaby’s Transportation Plan
