The City of Burnaby is excited to launch the 2024 Household Travel Survey, a critical component of the City’s ongoing efforts to update and refine its transportation plan, which was adopted in 2021.
This fall, approximately 20,000 survey invitation letters will be sent to randomly sampled households across the city, representing approximately one-fifth of all households. If your household is chosen, participating in the survey is easy and can be done in two ways:
- Online: Use the secure access code provided in your survey invitation to log in at burnabytravelsurvey.ca.
- By Phone: Call the phone number included in the invitation to take the survey over the phone.
By completing the survey, you will be eligible to enter a prize draw. All responses are strictly confidential and will be de-identified when shared with the public.
The information collected through this study is essential for informing future transportation planning and decision-making. Results will be integrated into the City’s update of Burnaby’s Transportation Plan, helping to shape the future of transportation in our city.
