The City of Burnaby has developed new draft community plans for the Edmonds, Royal Oak and Cascade Heights areas in south Burnaby. Residents are encouraged to share their feedback before the draft plans are finalized and presented to City Council for consideration and adoption.
Phase 1 of the engagement took place during the summer of 2023, establishing broad directions to guide the growth of these areas. Phase 2, conducted in spring 2024, focused on detailed draft plan directions. Based on the feedback gathered, the City has now developed draft plans and invites community feedback on Phase 3 of engagement.
