Thursdays March 27 and April 10, current Deer Lake Artist in Residence Jenie Gao will welcome artists into their studio to share, connect, and seek feedback with each other. This is a casual drop-in for artists specifically to have the chance to connect with other artists. The Artist Salon and Studio is located in the Burnaby Art Gallery Fireside Room.
Jenie Gao (they/she) is an artist specializing in printmaking, public art, social practice and community storytelling. Gao runs an anti-gentrification arts business and does consulting for cultural organizations and the public sector on equity and ethics.
