African Drumming Workshop (Family)
When: Saturday, February 15, 4-5 pm
Location: Arts Room
Join African drumming instructor, Israel (Toto) Berriel, as he guides you through a dynamic, musical and enjoyable drumming workshop. All instruments will be provided.
This workshop is brought to you in partnership with the non-profit organization, Alegria Soy, as well as the City of Burnaby's Harmony for All program. The Alegria Soy Cultural and Community Society was founded to promote the culture, food, dances and traditions of the different cultural groups that call the Edmonds community home.
Harmony for All is a community-based initiative for Burnaby residents that provides free musical instrument lending, no cost musical education outreach programs and scholarship opportunities for City music lessons.
