Family Day Weekend
Celebrate BC Family Day with fun, free or low cost activities for the entire family! The City of Burnaby, has toonie skates, family swims, and lots more.
Please note there are Family Day activities taking place on Saturday, February 15 and Monday, February 17.
Saturday, February 15
Outdoor recreation
Date: Saturday, February 15, 10 am-12 pm & 12:30-2:30 pm
Age: 6+ years, all children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Description: Join us for a low cost fun mini hike around Deer Lake departing from the Deer Lake field house. Learn more about our community's backyard forest as well as essentials for hiking. Dress for the weather, walk runs rain or shine.
Fees: $2 per person. Advance registration required.
Time: 10-11:45 am, 12-1:45 pm & 2-3:45 pm
Age: 5+, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Description: Celebrate Family Day at the Burnaby Village Museum. Although the museum site, restaurant & carousel will not be open, come and explore this fascinating farmhouse. Family friendly activities & craft are planned.
