Join us for the Grand Opening of Fire Station 8 on Burnaby Mountain!

We're excited to invite you to the grand opening of Fire Station 8, a state-of-the-art facility that enhances safety and emergency response for our growing community. Equipped with specialized firefighting tools and sustainable, energy-efficient building practices, this fire station is designed to meet the area’s unique needs.

Event Details:

When: Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11 am-1 pm (Opening ceremony at 11:30 am)

Where: 9900 University Drive East, Burnaby

Highlights:

• Meet the firefighters who keep your community safe
• Enjoy free games, face painting, and a BBQ hosted by the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society

Parking Information: Please note that there is no on-site parking. Free event parking is available at the South parking lot (off South Campus Road) of Simon Fraser University. We encourage residents to walk or take transit to attend the event.
