Visitor information and hours

Parking

There are nine designated parking stalls for the site. Five stalls are located in the surface parking near the front entrance (east face of the building) with access off Albert Street and Alpha Avenue. Six additional stalls are provided in the parking lot at Eileen Dailly Pool.

Entry/ Interior Access

Both entrances have automatic door openers. The reception desk, drinking fountain and telephone are accessible.

Washrooms

Accessible washrooms are provided.

Activities

Browse winter activities and add favourites to your Wish List. Registration will open at 10 am for Burnaby residents on the following dates:

  • December 2: Recreation activities (excluding skating lessons)
  • December 3: Arts and heritage activities

General registration for everyone will be open December 6 for recreation, arts and heritage activities. Reminder: Rolling registrations continue for swimming and skating lessons

Membership

You can purchase a 55+ single centre or multi-centre membership to participate in 55+ programs and activities. Memberships offer access to senior associations where you can join groups and clubs, and you can register at member pricing for the City’s 55+ activities. 

The single centre membership will allow you to participate in programs and activities at one centre of your choice. If you wish to participate at more than one centre, buy the multi-centre membership.

  • For only $21 a year, you can access one centre of your choice.
  • For only $52.50 a year, you can access all four seniors' centres.
  • Lifetime membership: If you’re 90 years or above and a Burnaby resident, you can apply for a lifetime membership. Please call your local centre for details.
  • Registered activities: registered activities are available to non-members. Please call your local centre for details.

Priority registration for Burnaby residents 

Burnaby residents get first chance to register for all Burnaby programs, and some Senior Society activities. General registration begins at a later date or time and varies depending on the program. 

For City of Burnaby programs, we post registration dates approximately 3 weeks before registration begins. For Seniors Society activities, please check at your local Seniors Centre for details.

55+ society

In partnership with the City, Confederation 55+ Society runs various clubs, activities, events and services for older adults. From wood carving, snooker, scrabble, mahjong to karaoke, cribbage and more–there's something for everyone.
