Regretfully, Buffy Sainte-Marie has announced that she must retire from live performance due to a combination of health concerns and physical challenges, meaning she will be unable to perform at the upcoming Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival. Stage 2 water conservation measures are being activated in Burnaby
Along with all other Metro Vancouver municipalities, Burnaby is activating Stage 2 of its Drinking Water Conservation Plan (DWCP), effective August 4, 2023. Stage 2 water restrictions mean that all residential and non-residential lawn watering and watering of grass boulevards is prohibited.
