Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley provided an overview of the key projects and priorities for the City of Burnaby at the annual State of the City address hosted by the Burnaby Board of Trade on May 6.
Mayor Hurley spoke about the ongoing transformation of Burnaby’s recreation centres, highlighted by the completion of the Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre this spring. He also shared exciting news about the City’s efforts to improve our parks, with the completion of the Central Park Perimeter Trail and the development of new playgrounds across Burnaby.
During the address, Mayor Hurley also discussed the significant zoning changes enacted by the provincial government, and how these changes will affect Burnaby’s neighbourhoods.
