About this project
This project upgraded the Jack Crosby lacrosse box with a new covering to enable the court to be used year-round, with room for covered spectator seating. The upgraded facility hosts lacrosse, ball hockey, volleyball, pickleball, and badminton, and features many upgrades over the current space, including:
covered roof for weather protection
room for spectator seating
lit space (court lights projected to be available spring/summer 2024)
multi-use court surface
secure storage space
Construction began in June 2023 and the new facility opened for public drop-in April 22, 2024.
