The City of Burnaby will celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day by highlighting the work of Indigenous artists, performers and storytellers with a community event at Civic Square on Friday, June 21.

The City reminds Burnaby property owners that 2024 property taxes are due July 3, after which a 5% late penalty will apply.

As part of the City’s New Sidewalks Program, we are pleased to announce the installation of new sidewalks on Gilmore Avenue, Carleton Avenue, Dunnedin/Carnegie streets and Portland Street. Construction is expected to begin in late 2024.
