Burnaby City Council has approved a contract to complete the design and construction of the Burnaby Lake Recreation Complex (BLRC).

New parking enhancements at Barnet Marine Park start on May 1, 2024 and are in effect Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays until September 30, 2024.
